You're ready for therapy.
Things have been rough, and no matter what you've tried, they aren't getting better. You or your child may be struggling with sleepless nights, repetitive, anxious thoughts, depression, or an eating disorder. Or maybe you're living day in and day out with dysfunction and confusion in your family or other relationships. You're not quite sure how, but there has to be a better way than this. You're ready to trust the process and make lasting change.
You're ready for therapy, and I'm glad that you're here. Let's take these next steps together.
I offer individual therapy for adults experiencing issues like eating disorders, OCD, anxiety and depression. For a more comprehensive list of what I treat and my approaches to therapy, click here.
As a bilingual Latina therapist with 7 years of experience in immigrant healthcare, I provide culturally responsive care and enjoy working with individuals of all backgrounds to explore concerns around language, immigration, race and cultural identity. I also enjoy helping clients explore gender and sexuality on their own terms.
I typically do not see youth 12-17 for individual therapy and most often require parents/caregivers to participate in some or all of their child's therapy. You can read more about this here.
I offer family therapy to improve challenging family dynamics, and as well as to support youth 12+ and their families who are dealing with mental health issues like eating disorders, OCD, behavioral issues, anxiety and depression. I also offer family therapy for adult children and their parents.
